This voice post contains a bunch of random bits of information. I talk some about my mood, getting rid of some of Ginny’s things, food, weekend plans, my sleep schedule and a bit on my dad’s new round of cancer treatment.
Last summer, I made the decision to fold my personal blog and my audiobook blog into one website. You can read more about that by clicking here. I uploaded all of my Audiobook reviews from that site but did not upload the news posts. I saved my personal blog to a file thinking I might upload it eventually but I never did so.
The benefit to not uploading those old posts are that I can revisit some of them and they will essentially be new content. Today’s post is an example of one that I have done previously but thought I would bring back now. I thought now would be a good time because I’ve picked up a few new readers since the year started and this exercise is one in which the reader will get to know me better and for me it is good to think about interesting tidbits about myself that I can share with others.
The inspiration came from a Facebook meme where you listed 25 random facts about yourself. I decided I would do that and post it on my website (I’ve always been a bit of a whore for traffic) and so that’s what I did. I didn’t limit it to 25 facts, however. We’ll see how many random facts this post ultimately contains by the time I’m done.
I have now officially written every day for two straight months. Well, that’s not exactly true. I have posted a new entry every day for two consecutive months but have actually not written daily. That’s the beauty of being able to bank a few entries at a time.
Welcome to the tenth edition of Would you rather? the game where I am given two choices and must pick between them. I did not one, but two of these last week. Thanks to being sick all week, I may be back to just this one this week. We shall see on Sunday.
Anyway, as usual the question comes to us from the website Either.io. Enough with the introducing with words, time to get down to brass tax.
Anyway, you’re getting two of these this week. Yesterday, I tackled a sports related question that I could not resist. However, that was actually the second question I got when I went to Either.io this week. Today’s question was the first to come up. Usually, I go with the first question but refresh the page just to see what the next random question would have been. I loved that sports question but I also wanted to do this one and thus you’re getting two. Besides now I don’t have to write another post while watching football. In fact, I may do one of these on Saturday and one on Sunday for as long as football season is going on. We shall see.
Welcome back to Would You Rather the game where I am given two choices and must pick which of them is most appealing to me. Last week, we discussed which period of time we’d want to visit, the beginning of civilization or the end of it.
This week Either.io gave me a question I could sink my teeth into.
Welcome to week 7 of Would You Rather, the game where I am given two options and must choose which one I prefer. Then at the end, I provide you with those same two choices and you get to vote for your own.
As always, the question this week comes to us from Either.io. Last week it was all about sleep, either too much or not enough of it. Thanks to Ric Gillespie for weighing in and agreeing that he should never be allowed to handle a chainsaw. As for this week, you might have already guessed the topic based on the subject line of the post.
Welcome to the sixth edition of Would You Rather. This is the game where I take a question at random from Either.io and put forth my answer for your reading enjoyment. I also provide a poll each week so you can answer each question for yourself.
Last week I tackled a question about first names. It wasn’t the best question of the bunch I’ve answered thus far but I think we make up for that a bit this week.
Once again I find myself in that odd position of needing to write today without having much to say. Actually, I have a few things I would like to say but I need to flesh them out a little better before posting them. Even the posts that I write within a day are usually things I have thought out for awhile now.
When I first sat down to write this post it was going to be about romance. I still plan to write a post about that particular subject at some point in the very near future but as I started writing this post became about something else entirely. Rather than try and shove the post back on to the original subject or make it extra long by getting back to my originally planned point, I just decided not to fight it. So this is a post about pictures.
I’m sure most of you reading this is familiar with the game of “would you rather” in which you are given two choices and must make a decision as to which one you would rather pick.
