Audible Unvailes ‘Treat Yourself 2015’ Sale

Audible has kicked off their Treat Yourself 2015 sale.

The sale is running from now through December 2 at 11:59 PM PT. There are over 300 books available each at a cost of $4.95. They cross a variety of genres from classic fiction and romance to young adult and science fiction. There are even some nonfiction books thrown in for those of you (like me) who are fans.

One of the nice things about Audible is that if a book that is already on your wishlist is part of the sale, they make sure to let you know. I’m sure they’re not the only ones who do that and so for any site that does it is a nice touch even if it seems like a fairly obvious thing to do.

A couple of books on my wishlist are part of the sale. A pair of nonfiction titles made the list. They are The Beginning of Infinity: Explanations That Transform the World by David Deutsch and The History of the Ancient World: From the Earliest Accounts to the Fall of Rome by Susan Wise Bauer.
I added 6 books to my wishlist in order to remember them when I can get around to making purchases next week. The first is one I thought I had on my wishlist already but I guess I was wrong. I’m talking about The Fellowship of the Ring: Book One in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J. R. R. Tolkien.

The other books include a pair of Tom Clancy Novels: Locked On and . I mentioned in a previous post that I was thinking of trying out some Tom Clancy.

The remaining books are: Misbehaving: The Making of Behavioral Economics by Richard Thaler, Worm: The First Digital World War by Mark Bowden and Casino Royale: James Bond, Book 1 by Ian Flemming.

If you plan to take advantage of this sale, I would love to hear your own purchases or your own personal recommendations. There are going to be other sites with sales this weekend and I’ll do my best to let you all know what they are.

I’ve reviewed two books that are on sale at this time. They are The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry and The Girls of Atomic City.

Happy hunting!
